SCHOLARSHIP INFORMATION FOR PLAYERS

TIME: Arrive at 7:15 please - session starts at 7:30 pm sharp !!

LOCATION: Donald A Wilson Secondary School Cafetorium (next to the Dome)

COST: No cost for session - please bring a non-perishable food item for charity

Information will be provided for Canadian and US colleges and universities

U13 Girls A - born in 1997, looking to expand their roster and holding try-outs this April. The girls will be competing in the CGSL Level 3 (the highest possible level for this age) again this season, with the goal of automatic promotion to the OYSL for 2011. The team is highly competitive and ranked 4th in the Terra Provincial rankings this past season. GYMS

If you are practising using any facility other than a Durham District School Board property, please forward the name and practice night / day and time to the Club office for our reference and records.

Coaches - to book a gym with the Durham District School Board only - please check the list of available gyms below. These are the only gyms the Board offer for use and they will only deal with our Club office for gym bookings. Send an e-mail to admin@whitbysoccer.com with your first and second choice of gym, week nights, and start and stop dates. An application will be submitted on your behalf to the school board. Once your permit has been confirmed, you will be required to bring a deposit to the office of $100 before your permit will be released to you. The balance will be due in the office no more than two weeks after the date your gym is booked.

Should you wish to book a gym with the Catholic School Board or any other facility, please make contact directly yourself (905-666-5500).

NOTE - DDSB permits start no earlier than 2 weeks after your application is received by the Community Use Office. WISC requires a deposit of $100 at time of booking. Please note their other details on the list linked above.

PRACTICE FIELDS

Be familiar with our Field Use Policy and be prepared to share your practice field at all times. Requests for practice fields must be received in writing or by e-mail

PROCEDURE NOTE

PLEASE NOTE the following:

When submitting to the Club an APPLICATION TO TRAVEL TO AN EXHIBITION GAME out of District - it must be accompanied by an Application to Host regardless of whether our team is hosting or another Club is hosting. Attach this to your ATF before submitting it to the Club office for processing and forwarding to the Region.

EXHIBITION GAMES between two WISC teams or between a WISC team and another Durham Region Club team also require that an Application to Host (OSA form) be completed and submitted to the Club office to be signed and forwarded to the Region. At this time there is NO FEE payable to the Region for this form under these circumstances.

TEAM WEBSITES

Team staff must be aware of the Club's policies regarding team websites and chat rooms. It is the responsibility of the team staff to ensure that Club policies and standards are adhered to. The Club office must be provided with access to all individual team-related websites, etc. and terminated immediately if criteria set out in the Policies & Procedures are not met.
