Whitby U16A Boys Finalists in Michigan
A fantastic weekend for Whitby soccer at the International Jaguar Invitational Showcase in Novi Michigan! Playing in the U16 Boys Elite Division (top of 3 tiers), our boys opened the 2016 pre-season with a very strong performance (3-0-0) in front of a few scouts, going undefeated in their Group, beating the top Erie squad 3-2, the Michigan Academy team 3-0, and a Windsor OYSL team 1-0, earning a well-deserved place in the Finals. Though our weekend ended in a tough loss vs. a dominant state team I am delighted with the progress our team has made.
Congratulations to the U13 OPDL Girls !!!

2001 girls, Giulia Giovinazzi 2002 girls, and Keyosha Donkor 2002 girls, on
their selection to their respective 2001 and 2002 provincial girl's teams.
This is a fantastic achievement by the girls and is the result of their hard work throughout a lengthy season long identification process by the OSA's OPDL & provincial selectors.
OPDL Head Coach Steve Airlie and WISC Technical Director David Thorburn are proud to have worked with the girls over the past 2 years, Thorburn commented that he would also like to thank OPDL coach Bart Herdsman who has coached the two 2002 girls for the past 5 years.
