From (L to R): Giulia Giovinazzi, '02. Lauryn Arruda, '01, David Thorburn, Deandre Kerr, '02, Cale Loughrey '01, and Nasiir Willabus-Stephen, '02.  Three other players were also selected from the 2016 OPDL season and they have since moved on.

That being said, it is fantastic year for Whitby FC to have eight players selected to represent the province. Moreover, it was a great opportunity for myself to watch all the players preform at the highest level, the U14's and U15's played the best from Quebec and British Columbia, the 2001 groups played Quebec.

I managed to watch all our young players at least twice and I am very glad to say they all played in all three games.  They all played a major part in the performances of the Ontario Soccer teams.  I was delighted and extremely proud to see the players compete against the very best and help enhance the reputation of our Club.

I am extremely happy to announce that two of these players above have been selected for the Canadian National training camp, Deandre Kerr, U15 and Nasiir Willabus-Stephen U15.
